What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the LTB on October 19, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by February 25, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,498.38 (less any payments made after November 14, 2022) which includes rent arrears up to February 14, 2023 and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $45.55 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 15, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
