What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The parties agreed to a payment plan where the Tenant would pay $150 towards arrears each month along with the monthly rent.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay $1,223.52, which represents the amount of rent owing up to March 31, 2021 and half of the cost of filing the application, according to a payment schedule. If the Tenant fails to make any one of the payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing, and the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
