What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The parties reached a mutually satisfactory settlement in mediation and agreed to a Consent Order.

The ruling

The tenancy shall terminate on or before November 30, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by November 30, 2023, the Landlord may file the Order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that eviction can be enforced starting December 1, 2023. The Tenant shall pay $186.00 to the Landlord for the application filing fee by November 30, 2023.
