What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants were late paying rent in January, February, April, May, July, and August 2021.
The ruling
The Tenants must pay their lawful monthly rent on the first day of every month for the next 12 months. If the Tenant fails to comply with this order, the Landlord may without notice to the Tenant apply to the Board pursuant to section 78 of the Act for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
