What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and not meeting conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The application was filed after Tenants failed to pay full lawful rent by October 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 07, 2023. Tenants must pay $10,540.55 plus $73.03 per day starting January 28, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If not vacated by February 07, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement. The previous order LTB-L-000559-22 is cancelled.
