What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet certain conditions specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 18, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,394.69 (less any payments made after the application was filed) by March 18, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by March 18, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant will also owe $43.92 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting March 8, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
