What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord, or the Landlord's superintendent, or the Landlord's agent entered the rental unit illegally and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household.

The ruling

The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant an abatement of rent in the amount of $350.00 by June 10, 2017. The Landlord shall only enter the Tenant's rental unit pursuant to the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
