What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant had paid rent late for most months from December 2016 to October 2017, with only May and June 2017 being paid on time.
The ruling
The Tenant is granted relief from eviction and allowed to continue the tenancy, provided he pays the rent on time from November 2017 to June 2018. If he fails to do so, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy. The Tenant must also pay the $190 application fee.
