What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a consent order issued by the Board on February 8, 2023 with respect to application LTB-L-028216-22. The Tenant filed a motion to set aside the order issued on April 3, 2023, and the parties mutually agreed to resolve all matters at issue.

The ruling

The motion to set aside the previous order is granted. The consent order issued on February 8, 2023 is cancelled and replaced. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,157.80 in rent owing and compensation by May 26, 2023, and vacate the unit by May 3, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by the due date, interest will accrue at 6% annually. If the unit is not vacated by May 3, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
