What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlords harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, entered the rental unit illegally and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant.

The ruling

The Landlords shall pay the Tenant $500 as a rent abatement for substantially interfering with his reasonable enjoyment of the property, and an additional $48 for the cost of filing the application. The total amount of $548 is due by September 30, 2021, after which interest will accrue.
