What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord has entered into an Agreement of Purchase and Sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date. If the unit is not vacated by then, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant shall continue to pay monthly rent of $766.50 until she vacates.
