What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 20, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,400.00, which represents the rent owing up to September 9, 2020 and the costs related to the application fee for the previous application. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $29.59 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting September 10, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by September 20, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
