What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 17, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing and had not paid rent since August 15, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 20, 2022. Tenants must pay $9,917.01 plus $65.75 per day starting February 10, 2022, to the Landlord. Tenants can void the eviction order by paying $12,186.00 by February 14, 2022, or $14,186.00 by February 20, 2022. If not paid, the Sheriff may enforce the eviction from February 21, 2022.
