What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had paid all arrears owing for the period ending October 31, 2020 after the application was filed, so the order was limited to the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 9, 2020, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
