What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had been late with rent payments from December 2020 to June 2021, but had made the July, August and September payments on time.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the monthly rent in full and on time to the Landlord on the first day of each corresponding month for the period 1 November 2021 to 31 October 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
