What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated as of October 31, 2021. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before October 31, 2021. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $79.30 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from November 1, 2021 to the date they move out of the unit, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before November 11, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
