What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of July 21, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 10, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $665.73 (less any amounts already paid) for compensation for the use of the unit from July 22, 2021 to July 30, 2021, and $73.97 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from July 31, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by August 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
