What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The parties mutually agreed to resolve all matters at issue in the application and requested an order on consent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 15, 2018. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $378.12, which includes rent arrears and application filing costs, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $21.67 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 8, 2018 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant pays $1,731.00 on or before February 15, 2018, the eviction order will be void and the Tenant can remain in the unit.
