What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants gave notice to terminate the tenancy. The Tenants provided an N9 Notice to terminate the tenancy effective November 30, 2022, but were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 7, 2023. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting February 8, 2023.
