What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy was terminated effective March 31, 2020 due to the Tenant's persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant must vacate the unit by October 30, 2020 and pay the Landlord $175 for the application filing costs. If the Tenant does not vacate or pay the amount owed by October 30, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
