What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant owed around $8,000 in rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 27, 2021 unless the Tenant pays the full arrears of $8,185.63 by that date. If the Tenant does not pay, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction. The Tenant is also ordered to pay $29.53 per day in compensation for use of the unit from September 17, 2021 until the date the Tenant vacates.
