What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed NSF cheque charges and related administration charges.

The ruling

The order is limited to the Landlord's cost of filing the application, which the Tenant is ordered to pay. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 31, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
