What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TSL-22751-21) issued on September 29, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay full lawful monthly rent and $200 towards arrears by February 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 13, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date. The Landlord owes the Tenant $1,002.10 due to the rent deposit and interest exceeding the arrears. The Landlord is authorized to offset $62.38 per day for compensation starting March 3, 2022, until the Tenant moves out. The eviction may be enforced by the Sheriff starting March 14, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
