What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The N4 Notice was found to be void due to ambiguity in the Landlord's accounting practices, so the application was converted to an L9 application.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $131.69 in rent arrears and $175 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 4, 2020, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
