What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had paid all arrears for the period ending November 30, 2020, after the application was filed. The only amount outstanding was the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 12, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
