What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's disruptive behavior, including fighting, yelling, and allowing the fire alarm to blare, as well as the Tenant or the Tenant's occupant tampering with the furnace by removing wires and screwing drywall screws into the furnace housing, which seriously impaired the safety of other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 4, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $14,847.58, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest if the amount is not paid by November 28, 2022.
