What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The tenancy is terminated effective June 28, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,475.65, which includes rent arrears, the application filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay daily compensation of $39.43 from June 9, 2022 until the Tenant vacates the unit.
