The tenancy is terminated effective October 5, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $7,895.84 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant is also ordered to pay $175.00 in costs to the Landlord. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 27, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
