What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and damages. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 6, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,942.53, which includes rent arrears, unpaid compensation for damage, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $45.36 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting March 27, 2021 until they move out.
