What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 22, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,587.32, which includes rent arrears up to February 11, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $65.75 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 12, 2022 until they move out.
