What happened

The tenancy was terminated effective March 31, 2020, the date the tenants vacated the rental unit. The tenants are ordered to pay $2,400.00 to the landlord, which represents the rent owing up to March 31, 2020, minus the rent deposit. The tenants are also ordered to pay $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the tenants do not pay the full amount by January 29, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 3.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
