What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from February 1, 2021 to April 13, 2021. The Tenant provided the Landlord with two N15 Notices to end the tenancy, with the second N15 Notice having a termination date of April 13, 2021.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $4,126.57 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
