What happened
Tenant applied for orders determining that the Landlord collected or retained money illegally and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household.
The ruling
The Tenant's T1 application is dismissed. The Landlord shall pay the Tenant $41.29, representing a rent abatement for one day of not being allowed occupancy of his rental unit. The Landlord shall provide the Tenants with rent receipts for any rent payments made during 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, and any other rent receipt requested subsequently by the Tenant. The rent receipts shall comply with the Act and regulations.
