What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the residential complex for personal residential occupation. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The order issued on June 13, 2022 is cancelled and the L2 application is dismissed. The Landlord did not comply with the requirement to pay the Tenant one month's compensation before the termination date on the N12 Notice.
