What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from May 1, 2020 to November 1, 2020. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on November 1, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $4,327.26 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 7, 2022, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
