What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by his parents. The parties reached a mutual agreement during the hearing with the assistance of a Board Mediator.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated by mutual agreement. Tenants must vacate the rental unit by October 31, 2017. If not vacated, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 1, 2017. The eviction order expires on May 1, 2018, if not filed with the Sheriff by that date.
