What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy of Tenant because the Landlord did not consent to the assignment or sublet of the tenancy and for compensation for the use of the rental unit by the Unauthorized Occupant.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of June 18, 2021. The Unauthorized Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before August 30, 2021 and pay the Landlord $4,563.88 for use of the unit from June 18, 2020 to August 19, 2021, as well as $73.61 per day from August 20, 2021 until the date they move out. The Unauthorized Occupant shall also pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application.
