What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not meet the condition to pay $1,538 in arrears by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 1, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $11,614.70 plus $64.11 per day from October 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 1, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
