What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay compensation for the money the Tenant should have paid had the Tenant not misrepresented the Tenant's income or the income of a member of the Tenant's family. The Tenant is no longer in possession of the rental unit and an unauthorized occupant, Steve Dagg, is residing there.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant (Branden Cadotte) is terminated effective November 10, 2021. The Tenant and the occupant (Steve Dagg) must vacate the rental unit by November 21, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
