What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amount. The Tenant must pay $7,086.00 by February 28, 2023, or $9,086.00 by March 15, 2023, to void the order. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by March 15, 2023, and pay $3,113.80 plus $65.75 per day from February 2, 2023, until vacating.
