What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants have been late in paying rent 10 times over the period of one year.
The ruling
The Tenants shall pay the rent on or before the 1st day of the month commencing June 1, 2021, up to and including May 1, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by May 9, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
