The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective October 23, 2021. The tenants are ordered to pay $1,183.45 to the landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the termination date and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The tenants are also ordered to pay $41.10 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting October 13, 2021 until the date they move out. If the tenants pay $3,346 on or before October 23, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
