What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. If not paid, the Tenant must move out by September 4, 2022. The Tenant owes $7,656.90 to the Landlord, plus $49.74 per day from August 17, 2022, until vacating the unit.
