What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to wilful or negligent damage to the rental unit that was beyond normal wear and tear. The Landlord withdrew the claim for damage compensation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 28, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 28, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting June 29, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by June 28, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
