What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Respondents, who were occupying the rental unit without the Landlord's authorization after the original tenants vacated. The Landlord argued the Respondents were not tenants and their occupancy was unauthorized.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 1, 2021, and the Respondents must vacate the unit by that date. The Respondents must pay the Landlord $6,184.11 in compensation for use of the unit from November 15, 2020 to February 22, 2021, plus $62.47 per day from February 23, 2021 until they vacate, as well as the Landlord's filing fee of $201.
