What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy for the purpose of personal use. Only the Landlord's representative attended the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,892 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $29.59 per day starting August 5, 2020 until the Tenant vacates. The Tenant must also pay $190 in application fees. If the Tenant pays $7,856 on or before August 15, 2020, the eviction order will be void.
