What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by Simon Bleeker.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of August 2, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 2, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $1,573.00 as compensation for the use of the unit from June 1, 2021 to July 22, 2021, and $30.25 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from July 23, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by August 2, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
