What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 10, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,151.85 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $33.96 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting July 31, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 10, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
