What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and not meeting conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay the full rent for January 1, 2023, breaching the condition set in the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 28, 2023. Tenants must pay $11,182.41 plus $29.19 per day from March 18, 2023, until they vacate. If not paid by March 28, 2023, interest will accrue at 5% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff starting March 29, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
