What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the lawful rent to the Landlord in full and on time for the period April 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant fails to make any payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant will start to owe interest if the $175.00 is not paid by April 30, 2021.
